ISSS will accept only complete applications for the benefits below. 

4 Business Days:

  • Certification Signatures on I-20/DS-2019 for travel
  • Edits to I-20/DS-2019 (change in major)
  • Re-Print of I-20/DS-2019 (due to lost or damaged documents)
  • Social Security Number (SSN) Verification Form for On-Campus Employment
  • Transfer Eligibility Form

5 Business Days:

  • Home Government or Other Organizations Forms
  • I-515A Processing
  • Letter of certification
    • attend 2nd institution
    • attend summer courses at another U.S. institution
    • confirm valid F-1/J-1 international student status
  • Loan, Short-Term
  • Program extension

5 Business Days:

  • Academic Training
  • Change to F-1 or J-1 Student Status
  • Curricular Practical Training (CPT)
  • Employment Authorization Based on Severe Economic Hardship
  • Employment Authorization for J-2 Dependents
  • Employment Authorization (other than academic training) for J-1 Students
  • Internship with International Organization Employment
  • Optional Practical Training (OPT)
  • Optional Practical Training (OPT) STEM Extension
  • Reinstatement to F-1 or J-1 Student Status
